When growth stalls, spending more can be an expensive way to avoid finding the problem. We start by looking at where customers drop off and what the team should tackle next.

Follow the customer, not just the channel

Look at the path from the first visit to a paying customer. Are the right people arriving? Do they understand the offer? What happens after they enquire?

Traffic alone cannot answer those questions. Qualified enquiries, sales, and acquisition costs give the work a commercial purpose.

Ask what makes them buy

Customer interviews and buyer research help us understand the trigger, the decision, and the evidence someone needs. What changed in their business? Who has a say? What would make them confident enough to act?

Those answers shape positioning, product pages, comparisons, and the content that helps people choose. The aim is to help the customer first. Better search visibility can follow from making that information useful.

Fix the next constraint

If search visits rise while enquiries stay flat, look at the audience, offer, and conversion path before buying more traffic. If enquiries arrive but go nowhere, look at follow-up and the handover to sales.

The next piece of work might be a clearer page, a technical fix, or better customer follow-up. Give it an owner and agree what improvement you want to see.

Bring in the skill the job needs

Baumr leads the plan and brings in specialists around the work: content, paid media, creative, PR, analytics, and development. We work with the existing team through shared plans, direct conversations, and delivery.

More activity is easy to buy. Knowing what to do next takes a closer look at the customer.
